Started taking this after my doctor reccommended either this or starting crestor. My HDL went up by 6 points in 2 months and LDL lowered by 30 since starting this. It helped keep me from needing to go on prescription cholesterol meds so I was happy with that. My doctor was shocked the HDL came up as he said usually it doesnt respond as well as LDL does, but needless to say it worked as advertised.
